I always wish to try new recipes with some nutritional facts...thats how i tried this recipe which turned out to be soft and puffed idlis.
Ingredients
Ragi flour-1 1/4 cup
Urad dhal-1/2cup
Salt-as required
Method
- Soak urad dhal for 2 to 3hours and ragi flour in little water for 1hour.
- Grind urad dhal and mix it with ragi flour and ferment it overnight.
- Take idly mould , apply oil or ghee.
- Fill in the batter in each mould.
- Cook it in idly cooker.
