Gothumai Puttu


Today i was bored to have bread,cereals.....for breakfast
I tried making puttu with wheat flour which is healthier version than rice flour...

Ingredients
Wheat flour(Wheat dry roasted and powdered) -1cups
Ghee-3tablespoon
Coconut grated-1/4cup
Sugar-1/4cup
Water-as required
Salt-a pinch

Method
  • Sieve wheat flour,add salt and sprinkle water little by little.
  • Mix well until the mixture seem to be powdered(just wet enough)not like a dough though.
  • Sieve the mixture and add coconut.
  • Steam in puttu maker for 5minutes.
  • Ghee,sugar can be added and served.
