Spicy Fish Curry


Ingredients
Fish-1/2kg
Red chilly-12
Pearl onion-10
Ginger-a small piece sliced
Green chili-2
Tamarind-a small lemon size
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Coriander leaves-few
Oil-3tablespoon
Sat-as required

Method
  • Heat 1cup of water,soak the red chilly in water,pick it soon after immersing.
  • Grind the red chilly into fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add mustard.
  • When mustard starts popping,add sliced ginger.
  • Add chopped pearl onion,green chili,curry leaves.
  • When onion gets transparent,add grounded red chilly paste.
  • When the raw smell goes off,add the tamarind paste,salt,very little water.
  • Add fish,cook until fish is done.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
