Vegetable Manchurian




Ingredients
Carrot-1
Potato-2
Cabbage-1/4
Onion-2
Green chilli-3
Spring onions with leeks-4
Capsicum-1
Tomato sauce-1/2 cup
Soy sauce-1tablespoon
Ginger Garlic paste-1tablespoon
Chilli powder-2tablespoon
Cornflour-5tablespoon
Besan flour-1tablespoon
Rice flour-1tablespoon
Oil-2cups
Salt-as required

Method
  • Grate cabbage,carrot and boil potatoes until fully cooked.
  • Finely chop green chilli,capsicum,onion,
  • Mix cabbage,carrot,boiled potatoes,green chilli,1 onion,1 tablespoon of chilli powder,besan flour,rice flour,corn flour,little tomato sauce,soy sauce,salt.
  • Make small balls and deep fry it in oil until it turns brown.
  • In a pan add oil,ginger garlic paste,onion,spring onion white part,green chilli.
  • When onion gets transparent add soya sauce,1/2 cup tomato sauce,salt.
  • Cook well until the raw smell goes off.
  • Mix 1tablespoon of cornflour in water and add it to the sauted gravy and stop the stove immediately.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves,green part of spring onions.
  • Add the veggie balls to the gravy,mix well  before it is to be served.
