Fish Gravy


Ingredients
Fish
Onion-2
Tomato-2
Red chilli-5 to 6
Garlic-3
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Garam masala-1/4tablespoon
Salt-as required
Oil-2cups

Method
  • Cut the fish length wise,add turmeric powder,salt,marinate it for 15minutes.
  • Deep fry fish in oil until it is cooked.
  • Tear the fried fish into small pieces.
  • Finely chop onion and tomato.
  • In a kadai,add 1/2tablespoon of oil,garlic,red chilli,fry it for few minutes.
  • Grind garlic and red chilli into fine paste.
  • In another pan,add oil,grinded paste.
  • When the raw smell goes off,add onion,a pinch of salt,turmeric powder.
  • When onion gets transparent,add tomatoes,garam masala,salt.
  • When tomatoes becomes mushy,add the teared fish pieces.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
This recepie goes well with coconut milk rice,chappathis.
