Vendakkai Fry/Okra Fry


Ingredients
Okra-1/4kg
Onion-1
Curry leaves-few
Sambar powder-3tablespoon
Turmeric powder-a pinch
Besan flour-3tablespoon
Corn flour-1tablespoon
Salt-as required
Oil-2cups

Method
  • Cut okra/vendakkai into medium sized pieces.
  • Slice onion lengthwise,chop curry leaves.
  • Mix okra,onion,curry leaves,sambar powder,turmeric,corn flour,besan flour,salt all together with very little water,keep it aside for 15minutes.

  • Deep fry in oil in batches until it turns brown.
