Ingredients
Toor dhal-1/2cup
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Cumin-1/4tablespoon
Onion-1
Green chilli-1 or 2
Curry leaves-few
Tomato-1
Chilli powder-1/2tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Corriander leeaves-few
Ghee-3tablespoon
Salt-as required
Method
- Pressure cook toor dhal until soft.
- Slice tomatoes length wise and finely chop onion,green chilli,curry leaves.
- In a pan,add ghee,mustard,urad dhal,cumin.
- When it starts popping,add onion,curry leaves,green chilli.
- When onion gets transparent,add tomatoes,chilli powder,turmeric.
- Cook until the raw smell goes off.
- Add toor dhal,mix well and cook for another few minutes.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
