Ragi Dosa


Ingredients
Ragi Flour-2cups
Red chilli-2 or 3
Peanut powder-1/4cup
Onion-1
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Jeera-1/2tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Hing-a pinch
Oil-as required
Salt-as required


Method
  • Finely chop onion,curry leaves.
  • Grind peanut into coarse powder.
  • In a pan,add oil,mustard,urad dhal,Jeera,red chilli,hing.
  • When it starts popping add onion,curry leaves.
  • Mix peanut powder,ragi flour,sauted mix and very little water.
  • Make a thick batter like idli batter.
  • Heat thawa,apply oil.
  • Pour one big ladle of batter at the center and spread it out.
  • Pour a tablespoon of oil around the dosa.
  • When it is cooked oneside,flip it to another side to get cooked.
Tip
This dosa can be served with tomato chutney,onion chutney.
