Ingredients
Green gram dhal-1 cup
Ginger-a small pod
Green chillies-5
Cumin-1 tablespoon
Onion-1
Salt-as required
Method
- Soak green gram dhal in water for atleast 6 hrs.
- Finely chop onion.
- Grind into fine paste along with ginger,green chillies and cumin seed.
- Add salt with the grinded batter. Make the consistency like dosa batter.
- Heat thawa,apply oil.
- Pour one big ladle of batter at the center and spread it out.
- Add finely chopped onion on top.
- Pour a tablespoon of oil around the dosa.
- When it is cooked oneside,flip it to another side to get cooked.
Tip This dosa goes well with coconut chutney and tomato chutney.
