Potatoes-3

Green chilli-2
Curry leaves-few
Chilli powder-1/2tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Corriander powder-1tablespoon
Garam masala-1/4tablespoon
Fennel-1/4tablespoon
Corriander leaves-few
Oil-2tablespoon
Salt-as required
For Grinding
Ginger-a small pod
Garlic-4 no
Onion-1/2
Method
- Boil the potatoes until soft,peel the skin and cut into cubes.
- In a pan,add 1/2tablespoon of oil,fry ginger,garlic,onion until it turns brown and grind them into fine paste.
- In a pan,add oil,fennel,onion,green chilli,curry leaves.
- When onion gets transparent,add tomato and grinded paste.
- When the raw smell goes off,add chilli powder,turmeric,corriander powder,salt,potatoes.
- Add 1cup of water,allow it to boil.
- Add garam masala and cook for another 5minutes.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
Coconut milk can be added at last to make the curry thicker.
Peas,Cauliflower can be added with potatoes.
Whole garam masala(Cinnamon,Cardamon,Clove)can be added instead of garam masala.
This dish can be served with chappathi,variety rices.
