Muttai Kulambu/Egg Curry


Ingredients
Egg-4
Onion-1
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Cumin-1/4tablespoon
Fenugreek-1/4tablespoon
Red chilli-2
Green chilli-2
Curry leaves-few
Turmeric powder-a pinch
Cumin powder-1tablespoon
Chilli powder-1/4tablespoon
Corriander powder-1tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste-1tablespoon
Coconut paste-1/4cup
Tamarind juice-1cup
Corriander leaves-few
Salt-as required
Oil-2tablespoon

Method
  • Boil Eggs in water until it is fully done.
  • In a kadai,add oil,mustard,cumin,red chilli,fenugreek.
  • When it starts popping add onion,curry leaves,green chilli,turmeric.
  • When onion gets transparent,add ginger garlic paste,chilli powder,corriander powder,cumin powder.
  • Add tamarind juice and 1/2cup of water,allow it to boil.
  • Add coconut paste,cook for another few minutes,add the boiled eggs(Make small slits in the sides to allow the gravy go inside).
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
Egg can be broken and poured as such in gravy instead of boiling it.
