Coriander Chutney


Ingredients
Coriander-1bunch
Cumin-1/4tablespoon
Ginger-a small pod
Green chilli-2 or 3
Garlic-2 n.o
Tamarind-a small lemon sized
Coconut-1/4cup
Salt-as required
Oil-1tablespoon

For seasoning
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Curry leaves-few

Method
  • In a pan add 1/2tablespoon of oil,fry cumin,green chilli,garlic,ginger,coconut,corriander leaves(for vey few minutes) one by one and keep it aside.
  • Grind all the fried ingredients with tamrind,salt into fine paste.
  • Season it with mustard,urad dhal,curry leaves.
Tip
This chutney goes well with idli,dosa.
If it is grinded with less water,it can be served with rice.
