Mushroom Fry




Ingredients
Mushroom-1/2kg
Cumin-1/4tablespoon
Cinnamon-1stick
Cardamon-1
Bayleaf-1
Cloves-2
Onion-1
Curry leaves-few
Green chillies-2
Ginger Garlic Paste-1tablespoon
Tomato-1
Corriander powder-1/2tablespoon
Chilli powder-1/2tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Corriander leaves-few
Oil-2tablespoon
Ghee-1tablespoon
Salt-as required


For Grinding
Garlic-3 n.o
Pepper-1tablespoon
Cumin-1tablespoon


Method
  • Finely chop onions,tomato,green chillies.
  • Slice mushroom into four pieces.
  • Grind garlic,pepper,cumin into coarse paste.
  • In a pan,add oil,cinnamon,cloves,cardamon,bay leaf,cumin.
  • When it starts popping,add onion,little salt,curry leaves,green chillies,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder.
  • When onion gets transparent,add tomato.
  • Add mushrooms when tomates becomes mushy.
  • Add 1/4cup of water and allow mushrooms to cook for another ten minutes until the water in it evaporates.
  • In another pan,add ghee,grinded paste,corriander powder,chilli powder,corriander leaves.
  • Add the sauted mushroom masala,salt.
  • Fry it until all the water is fully evaporated.
  • Garrnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
Garam masala can be added instead of  cinnamon,bay leaf,cloves,cardamon.
