Coconut Milk Rice


Ingredients
Basmathi rice-1 cup
Bay leaves-2
Cinnamon-2 sticks
Cloves-2
Cardamon-2
Big onion-1
Ginger Garlic paste-1 spoon
Green chillies-2
Cashews-few
Raisins(optional)-few
Coconut milk-2 cups
Salt-as required

Method
  • Soak basmathi rice for 20 mins in water.
    In a pan add 2 tablespoon ghee,oil heat it & add bay leaves,cinnamon,cardamon,cloves and cashews,fry it for few minutes until it turns brown.
  • Add onions,green chillies, ginger garlic paste fry it till the onion becomes soft.
  • Add rice, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Transfer it to rice cokker and add coconut milk.
  • Garnish with raisins(Optional).
