Rava Upma

Ingredients
Rava or Sooji-1 cup
Water-2 to 2.5 cups 
Peanuts-15
Onion-1 
Green chillies-3 
Red chilly-1 
Ginger-1/2 tablespoon chopped  (optional)
Oil-2tablespoon
Salt-as required

For Seasoning
Mustard seed-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Channa dhal-1/4tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Coriander leaves-few

Method
  • In a pan add 1/2tablespoon of oil, fry the rava till the aroma comes out.
  • In a kadai add oil  season with mustard,urad dhal,channa dhal,curry leaves.
  • Add onion,green chilli,peanut & ginger.
  • Add water and salt allow it to boil.
  • Add rava and mix it continuosly.
  • Finally add 1tablespoon of ghee (optional) or oil,mix it well.
