Pepper Rasam



Ingredients
Oil-1tablespoon
Tamarind-small lemon size or 1/2tablespoon paste

For seasoning
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Red chilli-1 0r 2
Hing-apinch

For Grinding
Tomato-1
Toordhal-1tablespoon
Peeper-1tablespoon
Cumin-1tablespoon
Garlic-2pods
Salt-as required
Corriander leaves-few


Method
  • Grind tomato,toordhal,peeper,cumin,garlic,salt into a fine paste.
  • Make 1cup of tamarind juice.
  • Mix tamarind juice with the grinded paste,allow it to boil for few minutes.
  • In a kadai,pour oil and add mustard,redchilli,hing,curryleaves.
  • When it starts popping add the mixture.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
