Puri


Ingredients
Wheat Flour-2cups
Water-as required
Salt-as required
Oil-2cups


Method
  • Take flour in a large bowl,pour in a stream of water. 
  • Mix the flour and water in a rotating motion,until the dough is moist enough to be gathered into a rough mass. 
  • Mix well until the dough becomes kneadable.
  • Make small balls of the dough.
  • Take one ball of dough  and roll it out into a circle.
  • Repeat the same process to roll out all puris.
  • Heat  oil in a kadhai until very hot.
  • Put in a poori and immediately start flickering hot oil over the top of it with a spatula so that it will swell up like a ball.
  • Flip the poori over and cook the other side until golden brown.                                             
Tip
This recepie is commonly served with potato masala,channa masala.
