Lemon Rice


Ingredients
Small Lemon-5
Rice-1cup
Mustard-1/4 table spoon
Urad dhal-1/4 table spoon
Cumin-1/4 table spoon
Peanuts-1 tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Hing-a pinch
Red chilli-1 or 2
Fenugreek powder-1/4tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Corriander leaves-few
Oil-1tablespoon
Salt-as required

Method
  • Pressure cook rice.
  • Take lemon juice out of lemon.
  • In a kadai,add oil,mustard,cumin,urad dhal,peanuts,hing,curry leaves.
  • When it starts popping add red chilli,fenugreek powder,turmeric powder.
  • Add lemon juice,salt.
  • Allow it to boil for few minutes until the gravy becomes thick.
  • Mix the sauted gravy with rice.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
