Ingredients
Brinjal(Kathrikai)-6 to7
Onion-1
Green chillies-4
Tomato-1
Chilli powder-1/4tablespoon
Turmeric powder-a pinch
Mustard seed-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Curry leaves-few
Hing-a pinch
Corrainder leaves-few
Salt-as required
Oil-1tablespoonMethod
- In a vessel boil brinjal till it is soft with turmeric powder and salt.
- Grind the cooked brinjal.
- In a kadai add oil ,mustard,urad dhal,onion,green chillies,curry leaves fry it.
- Add tomato & little chilli powder.
- Add the grinded paste,allow it to boil for 5 mins.
- Add corriander leaves.
Tip
Goes well with idli,dosa, and ven pongal.
