Idly


Ingredients
Urad dhal-1 cup 
Idly rice or Ponni boiled rice-4 cups
Fenugreek-1/2 tablespoon
Salt-as required

Method
  • Soak urad dhal, fenugreek together for 2-3 hrs.
  • Soak rice seperately for 5 hrs.
  • Grind urad dhal into fine paste seperately.keep it a side
  • Smilarly,grind rice.
  • Mix urad dhal and rice together with required salt.
  • Keep it out side overnite for fermentation.
  • Take idly mould , apply oil or ghee.
  • Fill  in the batter in each mould. 
  • Cook it in idly cooker.
