Ginger Chutney


Ingredients
Ginger-a small pod
Channa dhal-2tablespoon
Urad dhal-1tablespoon
Mustard-1/2tablespoon
Tamarind-1tabespoon paste
Red chilli-4 or 5
Jaggery-1/4cup
Hing-a pinch
Salt-as required

Method
  • In a kadai,add channa dhal,urad dhal,mustard,red chillies,hing and fry without oil.
  • Grind ginger,jaggery,tamarind paste,fried channa dhal,urad dhal,mustard,red chillies,salt into fine paste.
Tip
This chutney goes well with pacha payir dosa or any spicy dosa.
