Ingredients
Idli Rice-4cups
Urad dhal-1cup
Fenugreek-1/2tablespoon
Salt-as required
Oil-as required
Method
- Soak raw rice and urad dhal in water for about 5hours in seperate vessels.
- Add fenugreek with urad dhal and soak in water.
- Grind rice,urad dhal,fenugreek into fine paste.
- Mix salt as required with the grinded paste.
- Ferment the batter for atleast 10hours.
- Add little water to the batter to make thinner dosa.
- Heat tawa,apply oil.
- Pour one big ladle of batter at the center and spread it out.
- Pour a tablespoon of oil around the dosa.
- When it is cooked oneside,flip it to another side to get cooked.
Tip
Dosa can be served with any chutney,sambar.
Ghee can be added instead of oil to add more aroma.
