Cucumber Spicy Raita


Ingredients

Cucumber-4
Coconut gratings-1/2cup
Cumin-1/2tablespoon
Greenchilli-1

For seasoning
Oil-1tablespoon
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Fennel-1/4tablespoon
Hing-a pinch
Redchilli-2
Curryleaves-few

Method
  • Peel the skin of cucumber,cut into cubes.
  • Boil cucumber in a vessel for few minutes without water.
  • Grind coconut,cumin,greenchilli.
  • Add the grinded paste with cucumber,salt and stir it gently in  a vessel for another few minutes.
  • Heat oil in kadai,add mustard,fennel,redchilli,hing,curryleaves.
  • Add to the cucumber mixture.
Tip
This raita can be served with any variety rice.
