Ingredients
Oil-2tablespoon
Coconut Milk/Paste-2cups
Fenugreek-1/4tablespoon
Cinnamon-1 stick
Cloves-2
Cardamon-1
Cashew-5
Basmathi Rice-1cup
Salt-as required
Method
- Soak basmathi rice in water for half-an-hour.
- In a kadai,add oil,add fenugreek,cinnamon,cloves,caradamon,cashews.
- Fry till it turns brown.
- Pressure cook rice with the sauted mix and 2cups of coconut milk.
Tip
Coconut milk can either be extracted by grinding grated coconut or canned coconut paste can be used.
This recpie goes well with hot and spicy side dishes.
