Ingredients
Chicken
Big Onion finely chopped-1
Tomatoes chopped-2
Green chilli-2
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tablespoon
Chilly powder-1 tablespoon
Corriander powder-1 tablespoon
Garam masala powder-1 tablespoon
Chicken masala powder-1tablespoon
Turmeric powder-1/4tablespoon
Cinnamon-1
Cloves-1
Cardamon-2
Curry leaves-few
Corriander leaves-few
Ghee-1tablespoon
Yogurt-1/4 cup
Coconut milk-1/2 cup
Salt-as required
Oil-2tablespoon
Method
- In a kadai,add oil, ghee,add cinnamon, cloves, cardamon,garam masala powder , curry leaves and onion.
- Saute onion till it becomes soft.
- Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and tomatoes.
- keep the flame in low,fry till tomatoes become mushy.
- Add chicken and all the powders, mix it well,add 1/4 cup water.
- keep the flame in low, and cook for another 10 mins.
- When chicken is cooked, add yogurt & coconut milk and mix it well.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
This gravy goes well with briyani, ghee rice, all kind of pulav, parotta & also plain rice
