Cabbage Spicy Poriyal


Ingredients
Finely Chopped Cabbage-1/2 cup
Onion-1
Green chillies-2 to 3
Curry leaves-few
Red chilli-2
Cumin -1 tablespoon
Garlic-1 pod
Coconut-5 tablespoon
Mustard -1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Oil-2tablespoon
Salt-as required

Method
  • In a pan, add oil, mustard, urad dhal,onion, and curry leaves fry it for few minutes.
  • Add green chillies, cabbage fry it for 5-10 mins in low flame.
  • Once cabbage is cooked add salt.
  • Grind coconut,red chilly,garlic, and cumin seed. (without water)
  • Add the grinded coconut .
Tip
Goes well with sambar rice,curd rice.
