Ingredients
Chicken-1/4kg
Ghee-1tablespoon
Oil-1tablespoon
Cumin seeds(seraham)-1/2tablespoon
Fennel(sombu)-1/2tablespoon
Cinnamon-few
Cloves-few
Cardamon-2
Onion-1
Greenchilli-2
Tomato-1
Turmeric powder-apinch
Corriander powder-1tablespoon
Chilli powder-1/2tablespoon
Garam masala-1/4tablespoon
Coconut paste-1/4cup
Method
- Clean chicken and cut it into medium size pieces.
- In a kadai,pour ghee and oil,add cinnamon,cardmon,cloves,cumin,fennel when it starts popping add chopped onion,greenchilli.
- When onion get transparent add chicken,once it is half done add choped tomato.
- Now add turmeric,chilli,corriander powder and 1cup water,once it starts boiling add garam masala.
- When chicken is cooked fully add coconut paste.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
Tip
Chicken curry can be served with variety rice like peas pulav,biriyani,khuska,cocnut milk rice.
