Beans Poriyal




Ingredients

Beans-1cup
Oil-2tablespoon
Mustard-1/2tablespoon
Uraddhal-1/2tablespoon
Cumin seeds-1/2ttablespoon
Hing-a pinch
Onion-1/2
Red chilli-1


Method
  • Finely chop beans.
  • In a kadai,pour oil,add mustard,uraddhal,cumin, when it starts popping add redchilli,onion.
  • When onion get transparent add pinch of hing,beans and sprinkle little water.
  • Allow beans to cook in low flame until it is soft.
  • Garnish with coconut if needed.
Tip
Beans pooriyal can be served with hot and spicy curries,rice.
