Carrot Poriyal


Ingredients

Carrot-1cup
Oil-2tablespoon
Mustard-1/2tablespoon
Uraddhal-1/2tablespoon
Cumin seeds-1/2ttablespoon
Onion-1/2
Green chilli-1

Method
  • Finely grate carrot using grater or cut carrot into pieces .
  • In a kadai,pour oil,add mustard,uraddhal,cumin, when it starts popping add greenchilli,onion.
  • When onion get transparent add carrot.
  • Allow carrot to cook in low flame until it is soft.
  • Garnish with coconut if needed.
