Paruppu Adai ( Dhal Adai )

Ingredients
Rice-1 cup 
Toor dhal-1/4 cup 
Channa dhal-5 tablespoon 
Urad dhal-3 tablespoon 
Red chilli-6 to 7 
Fennel seed-few
Turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon 
Curry leaves-few
Corriander leaves-few
Salt-as required
Oil-as required


Method
  • Soak all the dhal together for 3-5 hours.
  • Soak rice seperately for same 3-5 hours.
  • First grind half the  dhal, half the rice, chilly,fennel seed, & salt finely as paste.
  • Grind remaining dhal and rice together coarsely.
  • Mix it well with chopped curry leaves, corriander leaves and turmeric powder.
  • In a thawa, add oil and make it like dosa, and add chopped onions.
Tip
Serve hot with coconut chutney or avial.
To make it more hotadd more chilli. 
Onion can be mixed  directly in batter to make a thick adai dosa. Both tastes good.

  1. You can also grind rice/dhal with little coconut, jeera.. it will add more taste to dosa
