Ingredients
Broccoli-1
Channa dhal-1/4cup
Mustard-1/4tablespoon
Urad dhal-1/4tablespoon
Cumin-1/4tablespoon
Red chilli-2
Green chilli-2
Curry leaves-few
Onion-1
Oil-2tablespoon
Salt-as required
Method
- Cut the stem of broccoli and remove only the florets.
- Boil water and salt.
- Add broccoli to the boiled water,cook until it is half done,drain the hot water.
- Add some chill water to retain it's colour,drain the water.
- Pressure cook channa dhal until it becomes soft.
- In a pan,add oil,mustard,urad dhal,cumin,red chilli.
- When it starts popping,add onion,curry leaves,green chillies.
- When onion gets transparent add the cooked dhal,broccoli.
- Mix well until the broccoli gets binded with dhal and the broccoli should be cooked fully.
